G2C Interface Mandate
Government to Citizens Interface (G2C Interface) A medium for Government and Citizens to interact. To jointly identify and solve National problems.
Government to Citizens Interface is the medium created by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant, Political to Mr. President, to cover the vacuum of distance between Government and her Citizens to have DIRECT and face to face relationship, conversation, deliberation, suggestion and all sorts of feedback.
Building a Nation, any Nation at all, will require the collaboration of efforts of both the elected Leaders and the electing Followers. It is having all hands on deck to build a Nation and rather than throwing all responsibilities of Nation building on the table of elected Leaders.
There is a role that Citizens must play, and it is also a role of responsibility and accountability.
Aim: To bring the Government’s ears and presence to the People. To create the medium of direct conversation with the People. If you write a letter, make a call, send an email or reach the Government by any means, you must get a response, a direct response.
Where the Federal Government will be represented on one side by all the Public office Holders; State Governor, the State Cabinet, representing Minister, representing Senators and House of Representative Members, State House of Assembly, representing Permanent Secretaries and all Representation of that particular State.
While the People will be on the other side to bring direct issues to the Government.
This is NOT a partisan meeting and will not be. It is solely about the delivery of good governance to the People, irrespective of the gender, Party, age of the Public Officers at that point.
A very obvious situation in Nigeria now, is the VACUUM of interaction between the Citizens and the Leaders.
It seems that the people can not easily reach the Government.
The missing link in Nigerian building right now, is the connection between Leaders and Citizens, which may henceforth, be referred to as the Followers.
Government wants to know what the people are experiencing from Jalingo to Eket, Agege to Awka and on.
This Platform Let’s us identify our National problems and proffer solutions to them.
